How do I take the CIC exam?
Following the live webinar, your exam will be available on your My Profile Page through the National Alliance website. The exam window is 72 hours, starting the Monday at 12:01am to Wednesday at 11:59pm following the close of the course. You can complete the exam at anytime during those 72 hours. Once you open the link and start the exam you have to finish it.
Do I need a proctor for the exam?
Yes, the exam must be proctored, meaning someone must see you take the test and confirm that you did not use any course materials or notes to take the test. Typically, this proctor must be a disinterested third party. However, in light of COVID-19, the requirement that the proctor be a disinterested third-party has been relaxed, and a family member can serve as proctor. Online in your profile page after your exam questions are complete there will be a place for your proctor to answer questions and confirm their review of the test.
If you don't have anyone at home to proctor your exam you can contact MIIAB for proctor availability.
When do I get my results?
You results will be posted to your National Alliance My Profile Page 1-2 weeks after your exam is taken. You login https://www.scic.com/customer/account/login to your myprofile page
