The attendee can turn in the bingo card once they have gotten stamps from visiting 25 booths for one chance to win the Grand Prize.  If the attendee visits 50 booths they get two chances to win.  The drawing for the Grand Prize will be held during our Awards Dinner from 6:30-8:00pm

The Anatomy of a Ransomware Attack (2CE) - John Immordino, Sr. VP Professional Liability
Ransomware attacks are up 400%.  The threat actors are more sophisticated than ever and they are now asking for seven figure demands.   This course will provide agents with an understanding of the evolution of cyber ransom attacks.  We will begin by understanding how the threat actor gets into their system and then follow along to see what they do while they are there. (Note:  This session runs for two hours)

Steve Anderson - Catalyit

Steve Anderson has spent his 35+ year career helping the insurance industry understand, integrate, and leverage current and emerging technologies. From business management systems to social platforms, Steve can analyze what’s happening now and explain its implications for the future. For the last 20 years, he has crossed the nation speaking at places like SAFECO, AAA, Nationwide, as well as many state insurance associations. He is on the faculty of credentialing organizations teaching thousands of insurance professionals and is a writer/contributor to multiple publications. Steve has a Master Degree in Insurance Law and was invited to be an original “thought leader/influencer” on LinkedIn representing the insurance industry and has over 340 thousand followers. He also is a top ten Global InsurTech Influencer. His first book, The Bezos Letters: 14 Principles to Grow Your Business Like Amazon, published by Morgan James Publishing, will be available wherever books are sold in September 2019.

John Immordino - Arlington/Roe

John rejoined Arlington/Roe in 2012 as Vice President, leading the Professional Liability department and affinity program initiatives. In 2020, he was promoted to Senior Vice President, Professional Liability. John previously worked for a large independent insurance agency in Illinois, returning to Arlington/Roe with retail agency experience. In a prior capacity at Arlington/Roe, he was a professional liability producer and the Illinois State Manager. He had also worked as a business consultant in project development, internal controls, management and marketing. John is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriter’s Society (PLUS) and participated on the Midwest Steering Committee. He was also on the IIA of Illinois Educational Committee and he is a licensed P&C agent. John received the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2006, Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation in 2008, Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation in 2010, the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) designation in 2014, and the Certified Programs Leader (CPL) in 2015.

Carey Wallace - Agency Focus

Carey Wallace started her career in a technology startup and found her way into the insurance industry like many others have – by chance. She fell in love with the people, the entrepreneurial spirt, and the insurance industry as a whole. While working for the Ohio Insurance Agents Association, Carey created valuation and consulting services as well as built and led the first data-analytics company solely focused on independent insurance agencies. She is incredibly passionate about helping agency owners leverage data to grow and thrive in the changing insurance marketplace. Over the past 14 years, Carey has worked with hundreds of agencies helping them understand their agency’s value and turn that knowledge into an actionable plan for their agency’s future. Carey has a Finance degree from West Virginal University and provides a variety of consulting services through the company she founded, Agency Focus, LLC.

Monica Adwani - Savvital

Monica is extremely passionate about process, strategy, profitably, leadership and obsessed with bringing a new meaning to remote teams and revenue to Independent Agencies & Small Business-Owners. Monica graduated from Fisher College in Boston and the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelors Degree in Business with concentrations on Management & Information Technology Management. She looks forward to making significant contributions in the areas of process efficiency, technology integration, culture and leadership development. ​ She is an avid advocate for Women and proud mother of her nine year old Veronica Torres. Jason Kolb - DAIS

Jason Kolb is a successful technical entrepreneur excited by the ability of technology to change the world, and in particular the powerful competitive advantages created by data. As a programmer since age 12 he quickly became attracted to the opportunities that emerge from using data in new and different ways. He was the founding CTO of Latigent, one of the first Web-based analytics providers, which was subsequently acquired by Cisco. Jason spent three years in technical leadership at Cisco focusing on intellectual property and big data strategy. Jason grew interested in how data interacts with the physical world and began to explore the Internet of Things, eventually becoming the founding CTO of Uptake in Chicago. Uptake grew from 2 employees to 400 during Jason's tenure, becoming Forbes' Hottest Startup of 2015 and reaching a billion dollar valuation in 15 months. It has gone on to reach a $2 billion valuation in early 2017. Jason left Uptake in early 2016 to explore a few important trends that were beginning to emerge outside of IoT. He is now the CEO/CTO of DAIS.
